Subject: The Storm Before The Calm
This is the last show in GD history whereby there is no recorded complete setlist. Whatever was going on that night is a mystery. Were people asleep at the wheel? Who knows. All anyone knows is that there is only one reel available of an excellent sounding show which I will forever assert is one of the most well-played and well-sung shows in GD history. I was there and it was great. I don't think the New Riders played that night and the Dead played a super long show, clocking in at 4 hours. They started a little after 7 and ended at midnite, which is the BCT's curfew (It's on the Berkeley High School campus).

This is a good recording and remaster ~ just as good as the other version. The vocals are a tad bit hot.
